Two-way silicone foley catheter is an invasive device used to be inserted through the urethra and utilized to pass fluids from the bladder.
- if patient have an obstruction in the tube that carries urine out of your bladder (urethra). For example, because of scarring or prostate enlargement
- if patient have bladder weakness or nerve damage that affects the ability to urinate
- during childbirth if patient have an epidural anaesthetic
- to drain bladder before, during or after surgery
- Other : Indication on an individual basis determined as per each clinical situation by professionals.
